Formula E
Unlike the rest of the categories we usually cover, Formula E holds races in the winter! The new season begins on on December 15, 2018 (full schedule).
It’s unclear whether the races will be televised live in the US (their TV schedule page hadn’t updated by the time of this writing), but this article implies that the Formula E YouTube channel will be an option for live viewing. At the very least we can assume that archives of the races will show up on YouTube at some point.
In the meantime, you can go back and watch last season in Formula E. We also have a Primer episode for Formula E (which will be outdated after the upcoming season’s changes but would still work for last season’s format).
2018 Races in Other Categories
Many racing series have made their 2018 seasons available for free on YouTube, including:
NASCAR 2018 Season (Monster Energy Cup)
World Endurance Championship 2018 (“super season” started May 2018 and ends June 2019)
Formula 3 European Championship 2018 Season (merging with GP3 next year to create Formula 3)
Some series have their own paid streaming services on which you can watch archives of the 2018 season.
MotoGP streaming service (one-time fee of $29 USD for 2018, $23 per month for 2019)
Supercars streaming service (one-time fee of $44 USD for 2018, unclear if this would get you 2019 too)
World Rally Championship streaming service ($11 USD per month or $103 annually)
World Superbike streaming service (one-time fee of $6 USD for 2018, $17 per month for 2019)
We’ve also done Primer episodes for MotoGP, NASCAR, and Super GT if you’re new to those.
